Privacy - Privacy notice
This notice explains what information Martins Works handles through this website, why it is used, and the services involved.
Last updated: 14 July 2026.
Information collected
If you use the contact form, the site collects your name, email address, message, and any company or budget information you choose to provide. If you email directly, the information in that email and the resulting correspondence is also handled.
The site also processes limited technical information needed to load pages, prevent spam, and understand aggregate website use. Custom form analytics record whether the form was started, succeeded, or returned an error. They do not include the contents of the form fields.
How the information is used
- to review and reply to enquiries;
- to decide whether a proposed piece of work is a fit;
- to keep the site and contact form secure and reliable;
- to understand how the site performs in aggregate; and
- to keep records where there is a business or legal need.
This processing is generally necessary to respond to a request before a possible contract, or for the legitimate interests of running and improving the business and website. Other grounds may apply where the law requires them.
Services involved
A small number of service providers process information to operate this site:
- Resend delivers contact-form notifications and the confirmation email sent to you.
- Cloudflare Turnstile checks form submissions for automated abuse and may process browser, device, and network signals for that purpose.
- Vercel hosts the site and provides aggregate web analytics and the form event reporting described above.
These providers handle data under their own service terms and privacy arrangements. Some operate internationally, so information may be processed outside the UK. Martins Works does not sell personal information.
How long information is kept
Enquiry information is kept only for as long as it is reasonably useful for responding, following up, maintaining business records, or meeting legal obligations. The exact period depends on whether the enquiry becomes a project and whether there is an ongoing business reason to retain the correspondence.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to ask for access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of your personal information, or to object to its use. You can also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
To ask a question or make a request, email hello@martinsworks.com. Enough information may be requested to verify and respond to the request safely.
Changes to this notice
This notice may be updated when the site, its services, or the way information is handled changes. The date above shows the latest published version.
